Beneath the Starlight
Known for his provocative dancing and stunning fire poi performances, Set'ka weaves a combination of captivating movements into his combat routine, channeling his own aether into every step to execute powerful and precise attacks. His most iconic weapons of choice are his dual chakrams.Both of these chakrams differ slightly in design, and are given their own names; Aten and Iah.

Aten
The sun grants life to abundant harvests, and offers warmth to all who bask in its morning light. To those who’ve lost their way in the barren wasteland, the sun is cruel; a firey and unrelenting tyrant, parching them of strength and hope. Aten, a deepgold and darksteel disc symbolic of the sun, doubles as a summoning circle. Magicked runes and geometric spells engraved along its edge enable the swift conjuring of arcane entities to assist Set'ka in battle. These summons grant elemental buffs and resistances, and help amplify his stronger attunements; fire, earth, and lightning.

Iah
Caravans traveling the cool night sands look to the celestial heavens, observing the constellations to navigate their way across the vast deserts of Thavnair. Iah, a silvergrace and mythril disc symbolic of the moon and its stars, is an exquisitely crafted hybridization of chakram and star globe. Fashioned for support and defensive action, its aether-infused rings and intricate astrological inscriptions allow it to easily convert between functions. While not as powerful as a fully-fledged star globe, it can still dispense adequate healing in tight situations.

This carrd page is a role play profile for Set'ka Tia, a fictional character that exists in the world of Final Fantasy XIV. This character draws aesthetic and cultural inspiration from multiple sources; ancient Egypt, the Near East, and the Far East; themes which are prevalent throughout the game, and are in no way intended to mock real-world cultures or their history.
Set'ka was created to tell a story, and open the door to others who wish to participate in his future endeavors. I do not god-mod, metagame, or powergame. I strive to be realistic with Set'ka's development, accepting IC injury and IC consequences for his actions. However, should a plot point steer toward him risking permanent scarring, dismemberment, or worse, it must be discussed OOCly and mutually agreed upon before continuing the scene.
